Regrade: An Individual Student's Quiz
It is possible to manually grade a quiz, even if that quiz has already been automatically graded by D2L.
- Click the caret to open the quiz's Action menu.
- Select Grade from the menu.
- Click on the attempt # beneath the student's name.
- Options:
- You can change the Final Score without modifying the score for an individual question.
- You can change the score on a question. The final score will update.
- You can change the Final Score without modifying the score for an individual question.
- Click the Save button to remain in the quiz (or Save and Close to save your changes and exit the quiz).
Allow: A Particular Student To Have Multiple Quiz Attempts
You can let individual students take a quiz multiple times.
- Click the caret to open the quiz's Action menu.
- Select Edit.
- Click on the Restrictions tab.
- Select Allow selected users special access to this quiz.
- Click the Add Users to Special Access button.
- Select Override attempts allowed and select the number of Attempts.
- Click the Apply button.
- Click the Add Special Access button.
- Click the Save button to remain in the quiz (or Save and Close to save your changes and exit the quiz).
Grade: With Anonymous Marking
You can remove students' identifying information while you manually grade.
- Click the caret to open the quiz's Action menu.
- Select Grade from the menu.
- Select the Questions tab.
- Check Anonymous Marking.
- Click on the name of the question you wish to grade.
- Enter a score.
- Click Save and Continue to save this grade and move to the next student.
- When you are finished, click the Go Back to Questions button.
Exempt: Students from a Quiz
Exempting students from a quiz means that the quiz will not count toward the final grade.
- Select Quizzes from the course navbar.
- Click the caret to open the Actions menu.
- Select Manage Exemptions.
- Select the student(s) you wish to exempt.
- Click the Exempt button.
- Click the X to exit this window.
Export: Quiz Results to a Spreadsheet
It is possible to export quiz data to a spreadsheet.
- Click the caret to open the Actions menu.
- Select Grade from the menu.
- Click either Export to CSV or Export to Excel.
